ORDERS

Prices are FCA our factory in Warren, PA. Orders are subject to approval and acceptance by Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. and contingent upon fire, strikes, accidents, and causes beyond our control. Prices are subject to change without notice. Billing will be made at prices in effect at time of shipment. Orders submitted on Customer's own purchase order forms will be accepted only with the expressed understanding that no statements, clauses, or conditions contained in said order forms will be binding on the Seller if they in any way alter or modify the Seller's own terms and conditions of sale. Clerical and other inadvertent errors are subject to correction.

CREDIT APPROVAL

Shipments, deliveries, and performance of work shall at all times be subject to the approval of  Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc.'s Credit Department and  Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. may at any time decline to make any shipment or deliver or perform any work except upon receipt of payment or upon terms and conditions for security satisfactory to such Department. Buyer agrees to pay collection and attorney's fees in the event that collection becomes necessary.

TAXES

Taxes of all kinds -Local, State, and Federal-are additional.

TERMS

Net 30 days. All payments are due within 30 days. There is a 1.5% late fee applied per month on all invoices past due.

CLAIMS

All claims must be reported in writing within 10 days of receipt of goods. Our goods are sold FCA our Plant in Warren,PA and the on shipment of the goods insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Carriers are responsible for goods lost, damaged or delayed in transit. If goods are damaged in transit, have the carrier's agent note the condition on the freight bill over his signature; file all claims with the carrier.

RETURNED GOODS

 Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. products may be returned under the following conditions: (1) Item Defective, (2) Item Shipped in Error, (3) Item Ordered in Error; and all claims must be reported in writing within 10 days of delivery.  Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc.'s, subject to Inspection, Return Authorization will be faxed or e-mailed to you upon verification of conditions met. All returns must be accompanied by its' original invoice.  Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. will not issue credit until inspection and approval has been completed at our facility. Once approved, a credit will be issued...MINUS a 25% restocking fee.

WARRANTY

Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. warrants their products described and manufactured by Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. to be free from defects in material and labor for a period of one (1) year from date of invoiced by Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. under normal use and service. It's sole obligation under this warranty being limited to repairing or replacing, as hereinafter provided, at its option any product found to Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc.'s satisfaction to be defective upon examination. Such product shall be returned for inspection to Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. factory in Warren,PA within two (2) months after discovery of the defect. The repair or replacement of defective products will be made without charge for parts or labor. This warranty only applies to parts or products manufactured by Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. Warranty of items not manufactured by Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. is limited to the actual warranty extended to Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. by its supplier.

This warranty shall not apply to: any product that has been subject to abuse, negligence, accident, careless handling, alteration or improper application, use, or installation; any product altered or repaired by others than Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc.; and to the replacement of service items such as nuts, bolts or gaskets. To the extent permitted by law, this limited warranty shall extend only to the buyer and any other person reasonably expected to use or consume the goods who is injured in person by any breach of the warranty. No action may be brought against Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. for an alleged breach of warranty unless such action is instituted within one (1) year from the date the cause of action accrues. This limited warranty shall be construed and enforced to the fullest extent allowable by applicable law.

Other than the obligation of Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. set forth herein, all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and any other obligation or liability are disclaimed. The foregoing constitutes Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc.'s sole obligation with respect to damages, whether direct, incidental, or consequential, resulting from the use or performance of the product.

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING CHANGES

Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. reserves the right under our product improvement policy to make reasonable changes of any kind without notice and to deliver revised designs or models of goods without reference to illustrations or specifications contained in catalogs. Weights shown are approximate and in no sense guaranteed.  Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc. reserves the right to substitute type 316 stainless steel for type 304, at no extra cost, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

EXPORT SERVICE

A significant portion of  Allegheny Valve & Coupling, Inc.'s business is done overseas. We are familiar with the requirements of export packaging and documentation. Although we sell FCA Warren, Pennsylvania we stand ready to help communicate and arrange efficient inland transportation to the appropriate airport or ocean port. The inland charges and associated insurance will be for the buyer's account. We have an Export Expert in house, happy to answer questions or connect you with those who can.
